About Us

Behind the scenes of On the Cusp are three young Chicagoans with a firm belief in sharing great work from people all over the place. We started meeting in November of 2011, opened submissions for our first issue in December and published space in January 2012. Since then we've published 7 submission-based issues of the zine and 2 books by friends, released a music review zine, and produced a print set. We're of the mindset that progress is based in experimenting.

We believe firmly in the physicality of print, but you can find After, our last/most recent issue of On the Cusp on issuu here, for an example of our work.

We operate mostly via tumblr.
